After months of uncertainty, Republic Of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill has spoken about his ongoing contract situation with the FAI.
Last week, O’Neill was heavily linked to the vacant managerial position at English Premier League side Stoke City but in an interview released last night on the FAI’s official Twitter account, the Derryman said that everything is in place for a new contract with Ireland, even though it is still not signed.

Fans online were highly critical of the hurried in-house interview as O’Neill failed to mention anything about the Stoke position and moved on to different subjects after speaking about the contract situation for only a few seconds.
It seems this is going to rumble on until O’Neill puts pen to paper.
