Irish Fuel Prices Are Now At The Lowest They’ve Been Since 2016

katedemolder

Great news for Irish motorists as it has been revealed by The AA that fuel prices have been dropping steadily for months.

A survey on fuel prices by AA Ireland has found that fuel prices have been dropping steadily for the past four months in a row and are now the cheapest they have been since late in 2016.

Petrol has fallen by an average of 2.4c per litre, while diesel has decreased by 3c per litre across the country.

The average price of a litre of petrol in Ireland at time of writing is 131.9c, while a litre of diesel will cost you around 119.2c per litre.

However, despite the national drop in fuel prices, the AA also reported a minor increase in the cost of a barrel of oil – a massively influential factor in setting future fuel prices.
