Six people have so far been confirmed as dead following a horrific terrorist attack in London last night.
Attackers drove a van across London Bridge, deliberately swerving and targeting pedestrians, before abandoning the vehicle and stabbing passersby in the Borough Market area – outside and within two pubs and a restaurant.
Minister for Foreign Affairs, Charlie Flanagan has released this statement:
“We continue to closely monitor the situation. Anyone who has serious concerns about loved ones in London can contact my Department in Dublin on 01 408 2000, or the Irish Embassy in London on 00 44 207 235 2171.”
