Irish People Are Urged To Take A ‘Tea Break’ Next Month For A Very Important Reason

Sarah

While we all know that a properly made cup of cha has some magical healing powers, often its that chats that go alongside the tea that help the most.

Makes sense then, that Irish charity Suicide or Survive (SOS), which is dedicated to breaking down stigma associated with mental health, through a range of innovative and life changing programmes, is hosting its annual National Tea Break campaign next month.

Throughout September, Suicide or Survive is inviting everyone to get talking about mental health, and as they say, “the easiest way to do this is over a cup of tea.”

The National Tea Break offers the perfect opportunity to gather friends, family, colleagues and the community together to host a Communi’Tea Break.  As well as raising awareness about mental health, each tea break will raise much-needed funds which will assist Suicide or Survive in continuing its work and programmes.

They’re offering free Tea Break Packs to anyone who registers for one, making it even easier to host your very own tea and chats next month with mates, colleagues, neighbours, family, or anyone else you’d love to share this important mission with.

Basically, stick on the kettle and just talk about all the other things we love to chat about, but this time pop some thoughts on mental health and wellness into the mix.
