An Irish school has been forced to release a statement about a video which is circulating online.

The school had been linked to the video which has been circulating widely on social media.

It allegedly shows two teachers involved in a sex act in a classroom and rumours were circulating that the school involved was Antrim Grammar School.

However, in a statement on their Facebook page, the school denied the connection stating that:

"I am writing to you in relation to a video circulating on social media site Facebook purported to have been filmed in Antrim Grammar School and featuring staff from the school.

"I would like to state categorically that the video was not filmed in Antrim Grammar School, does not feature any staff past or present from Antrim Grammar School, and indeed has absolutely no connection with the school whatsoever."
