Do Not Use – Various Irish Supermarkets Are Recalling These Beef Burgers

Darragh Berry

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued a warning that a major Irish wholesale company is recalling its beef burgers in various Irish stores.

The Glenmor Beef Quarter Pounders are sold in Spar, Eurospar, Londis, Mace and XL supermarkets.

BWG Foods says it is recalling the batch as it is labelled with the wrong ‘use-by’ date for customers.

With this mistake, customers may feel that the product is still safe to use when in fact, it could be out of date.

If you are affected, you will be able to identify the product by their current best-by date of 7/08/2018.

If you have this in your home, you are urged to return it to the store where it was bought where a refund or a replacement can be received.
