Irish Twin Found Safe But ‘Traumatised’ In Madrid While Sister Is Still Missing

One of the twin sisters from Carlow who sparked a search in Madrid last week after going missing in the city has been found.

Mary-Jessica and Martha-Joan Osaro were last seen celebrating their birthday in Centro, La Latina in Madrid on Thursday, where they have been living on and off for the past five years.

Their older sister Jennifer had shared an appeal on social media after they went missing, saying, “We are very worried about them and their well-being. Please share this as much as possible to use the power of social media to find them.”

Jennifer issued an update today, saying, “I have found one twin. I found Mary-Jessica Osaro, she’s right beside me.

“I cannot disclose information of how I found her or where I found her. I can tell you now from the feedback I got from where I found her, she was very traumatised.

“Just keep praying, keep hoping that we’ll find another twin. The sharing is working and the police know that I’ve found her, they are aware of that information and now they are looking for Martha.

“I’m still going to continue to look for Martha because I am not giving up. I have found one twin and I will find the other if it’s the last thing I do.”

Anyone with information has been asked to contact Spanish police on 0034913221072 and Jennifer, who is also in Madrid, on 0035862750940.
