Irish Woman Stabbed And Killed At An Apartment In Morocco

An Irish woman living in Morocco has been stabbed to death at an apartment in a busy surfing town, according to reports by The Irish Independent.

The woman was discovered with stab wounds at an apartment Taghazout, north of Agadir, where local local Gendarmerie were called to the scene.

A nearby resident reported they heard "powerful cries" from the building.

Yabiladi reported that the Irish woman was brought to Hassan II Hospital in Agadir where she died from her injuries.

The suspect of her murder, a 40-year-old man, suffered injuries to his face and local reports stated he was intoxicated.

He is currently being interviewed by police as part of their investigation.
