General Manager Patrick Treacy of Treacys West County Hotel in Ennis, Clare is offering to let all Patricks, Paddys, Pats, Padraigs, Patricias and Patricios stay in his hotel for free on 17 March.

The bookings open from 10am on Monday 27 February. But you’d better be quick – only the first 500 callers will get a free bed and breakfast.

Of course, you photo ID will be required to prove your true Paddy-ness.
