Over 80,000 people are expected to make their way to Slane Castle for today’s Guns n’ Roses gig, with a stellar supporting line-up including Mark Lanegan and Royal Blood.
It’s been 25 years since Slash & Co rocked the iconic Meath site and to say people have been counting down the days is an understatement.
Well, the band has now confirmed that they have arrived in Ireland and are all set for tonight’s show.

The weather has been a bit of a downer this morning but forecasters are predicting that it could ease off before the action kicks off in earnest at Slane.
