Jedward slammed The X-Factor in a series of tweets last night

Twitter was alight last night when Irish singing duo Jedward came after The X-Factor in a series of tweets.

The brothers competed on the show during its sixth series in 2009 with the likes of Stacey Solomon, Olly Murs and Joe McElderry, proving popular with the show’s fans and eventually finishing in sixth place.

Jedward took to Twitter last night to make a series of claims about the show, starting off by saying:

“The biggest regret in life was not telling the judges on X Factor to f*** off.”

The lads continued, writing, “every contestant on the X-Factor was a slave to the show and got paid Zero while they made millions!”

The pair also claimed that “every contestant has to act like their judge mentors them! When in reality all they care about is their pay check!”

They added, “Simon Cowell thinks he’s the Mafia leader of the music industry when in reality he’s nothing but a bad facelift.”

The tweets didn’t stop there, with the brothers going on a write a series of other claims and stating that they were “Just here casually waiting for the Lawyers to come threatening us!”
