For those of you who didn’t stir out last night, The Late Late Show had some very entertaining guests on it.
However, there was one part of the show that didn’t sit very well with the public at all.
There was a section where Tubridy talked to experts about Christmas dinners and more so about pork and Christmas ham.
There was a big table with pork on it but also, there was pigs in a cage to the right hand side of the table.
People felt that not only should the pigs have not been on the show in the cage, but they shouldn’t have been so close to the food either…
I see that @RTELateLateShow didn’t take any advice from @agriculture_ie regarding the law about having pigmeat in such close contact with live pigs. Sending out a poor message about #biosecurity #latelate #latelateshow pic.twitter.com/dLKxcyM3I9

Ryan Tubridy gets paid so much. Your pay should be relative to the quality of the show you present. And seriously…..pigs, lads with a bit of mash and dodgy beer! #latelate

This’ll go down well in some quarters, having live pigs here beside pork #latelate
