The developer of Bray Central in Bray's Main Street has said that the shopping centre car park and some restaurants could be open in the coming weeks.

Members of the local community have eagerly awaited the opening of the Bray Central Shopping Centre on the town's Main Street. A spokesperson for the developers Oakmount Ltd., has confirmed that the development is at "the final completion stage," speaking to The Bray People, they added, "we anticipate the opening of the car park and some of the restaurants in the coming weeks with other units to open thereafter as tenant fit outs are completed." The site is located on the former Florence Road car park, and once completed will house an underground car park, a Stella cinema, Bert’s Bowl a luxury 10 Pin bowling alley, restaurants and several retail units. While barriers and hoardings remain in place, the publication is reporting that signage for Press Up's "Wowburger" can be seen from street level. Construction company Pure Fitout, shared a series of images of the completed interior of the Wowburger, which is expected to be the 20th Irish branch of the chain. https://www.instagram.com/p/CgCg4IxFHnX/ Alongside Wowburger, a second Press Up brand Elephant and Castle are expected to be one of the first units to open in the development. At a Bray Municipal District meeting in February, local councillors were told that the cinema could take up to six months to complete due to the complex nature of the project, reports The Bray People.
