Man Becomes Second Cyclist Killed On Irish Roads In Recent Days

A cyclist who sustained injuries after a collision in Mayo at the weekend has passed away.

The man is his 50s was involved in a crash at Rathroeen, Ballina, Co Mayo on Sunday. He succumbed to his injuries at Mayo University Hospital yesterday.

He becomes the second cyclist killed on Irish roads in recent days. Yesterday, a female American tourist in her 60s lost her life after being involved in a crash at the Gap of Dunloe in Co. Kerry.
