A 26-year-old Clonmel man has been charged with the murder of pensioner Paddy Lyons.
The 90-year-old was killed at his home in Waterford last week and Ross Outram today appeared in court in connection with his death
According to The Irish Times, Outram was arrested yesterday and was remanded in custody following this morning’s court hearing.
The body of Mr Lyons was discovered by a neighbour at his cottage in Ballysaggart on Saturday evening.
