Man Critically Injured While Watching McGregor Fight At House Party

Gardaí are investigating after a man was critically injured in an incident which took place while party-goers were watching the Conor McGregor fight in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Irish Independent reports that the 41-year-old man was found in a house in the Sruth an Iuir area of Oram, near Castleblayney in Co. Monaghan.

It is believed that he was injured between 6am and the time he was found. McGregor’s fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov in Las Vagas finished around 5am Irish time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.
