A man, in his thirties, has died in hospital following a collision with a vehicle that occurred early yesterday morning.
The incident occurred at Bushy Park, Moycullen Road, Galway at around 1.40am yesterday morning.
According to Independent.ie, he was rushed to Galway University Hospital in a serious condition and was pronounced dead last night.
A post-mortem will be carried out over the coming days.
The road has been fully reopened to traffic following a Garda forensic collision investigation.
