All roads lead to Croker today and it seems that Senators Michelle Mulherin and Catherine Noone will be among those enjoying the Dublin v Mayo clash at the stadium this afternoon.
The duo hit the headlines earlier this week after publicly complaining that their governmental positions didn’t automatically allow them to buy tickets for the highly-anticipated game.
Mayo politician Mulherin said that this had been the policy for many years and accused the GAA of being biased towards elected TDs.
Her comments angered many fans, with the GAA insisting that the decision was made due to “high demand”.
However, The Mail On Sunday is now reporting that the two WILL be at Croke Park at the big match, after securing tickets “through friends”.
Not sure people will be thrilled about this happy ending for the Mayo Senators – they’re sorted (via @PaulFedayn) pic.twitter.com/CJKXsVhBWR
