Met Eireann has issued two more weather warnings for this weekend, so you might want to hold off on any outdoor activities you had planned.

A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal, in place from this morning until midnight tonight.

“Further rainfall this afternoon and evening will give a total 24 hour rainfall accumulation for today of between 25 and 35 mm,” reads the forecast.

A snow/ice warning has also been sent out for the whole country, kicking off at midnight and lasting until tomorrow night at the same time.

There will be scattered showers of hail, sleet and snow across Ireland, with frost and icy patches.

Temperatures will drop as low as -2 tonight, and it will also be bitterly cold tomorrow.

Accumulations of snow will be highest in Ulster and north Connacht.

If that isn’t enough for you, there’s also a wind warning in place for this afternoon and evening, from 3pm to 8pm.

You gotta love Irish weather…
