Motorist Dies In ‘Freak’ Weather Conditions On M7

A man in his 50s has lost his life after being involved in a 12-car pile-up on the M7 Dublin to Limerick road last night. 

According to The Irish Mirror, a freak hailstorm was taking place at the time and may have been a factor in the collision.

It’s been reported that the deceased’s car left the road and collided with a fence. 

The incident took place between Birdhill and Castletroy just before 8pm.
