If you get one of these emails, don't open it

Netflix users are being warned about a new email scam that’s doing the rounds.

The fake emails are asking customers to update their payment details through a convincing looking website, which will then steal your password and bank details.

Action Fraud, the UK’s national fraud and cyber crime reporting centre, tweeted to warn Netflix users to be on the lookout for the fake emails.

They added that you should 'always question unsolicited requests for your personal or financial information in case it's a scam'.

Anyone who’s worried they might have been affected by the scam should speak to their bank as soon as possible.
