A brand new cross-border ferry will be making its maiden voyage across Carlingford Lough today, facilitating punters travelling from Greenore, County Louth to Greencastle, County Down.
The new ferry brings hope to the area for a surge of tourism, as well as cutting commute times by up to an hour.
According to Breaking News, the new service cost €10 million to build.
The operators are hoping to carry around 100,000 vehicles every year.
