People Are NOT Happy With The @Ireland Twitter Account Today

The @Ireland Twitter account was created by Irish Central in 2012 to give a voice to the varied voices of Ireland, from within Ireland and across the world and has over 45,000 followers.

There were issues with the account a few months ago when a black woman received appalling racial abuse while running the account for a day.

And it seems there are further issues with @Ireland today with the current curator, Tom.

He's been coming out with the most bizarre/offensive tweets all day:

Tom's bio on the @Ireland account reads:

People were not one bit happy with his tweets:
