A punter from Kildare predicted both the half time and full-time score of the World Cup Final between France and Croatia.
The lucky fella placed a €20 bet on his prediction that the score would be France 2-1 Croatia at half-time and France 4-2 Croatia at full-time. He placed the bet in his local bookies at 500/1.

According to the Irish Mirror, a Paddy Power spokesperson said: “It was an exciting match to say the least, but this guy must have been roaring so loud that Kylian Mbappé heard him all the way from Russia!
“I’m sure he had no trouble recruiting some mates to help carry the cash home.”
We’d say there was plenty of celebrations in that gaff last night.
