Players From TWO Irish Counties Won Big On Last Night’s Lotto

James Fenton

The people of Kerry and Wexford will have All-Ireland football and hurling glory respectively in their sights this year and if last night is anything to go by, luck could well be on their side.

The National Lottery has revealed that players in both counties have reason to celebrate today with a Kerry punter netting a whopping €289,861 for matching five numbers plus the bonus ball.

Meanwhile, over in the Model County, someone bagged €250,000 by matching all six numbers on the Lotto Plus Two draw.

With that kind of cash, surely they can just buy the Sam Maguire and Liam McCarthy cups this year? The prizes have yet to be claimed so make sure you check those tickets, folks.
