Storm Doris strikes again.
It’s being reported that up to 41,000 properties across the country are currently off-line as gusts of up to 120km/hr batter the country. Repair crews are working hard to fix almost 1,000 faults affected by fallen power lines right now, with outages expected for tonight and most of tomorrow.
The ESB is struggling to restore power to around 37,000 homes across the country affected by the tumultuous Doris.

An ESB spokesperson mentioned to Breaking News that repair crews are working to fix around 1000 faults around the nation.
“We will hopefully get the majority of people back today but there may be people who are without power for the day and overnight – we don’t know yet. We will be assessing that as we go on during the day.”
More as we have it.
