Rubberbandits Highlight Appalling Online Reaction To Well-Meaning Facebook Post

If you were ever in doubt about how ridiculously some people behave while online then a perfect example has arisen this afternoon.

The Rubberbandits, known for their influential social media posts, took to Twitter to highlight a well-meaning cause by animal welfare organisation Limerick Feral Cats.

The group has taken in stray felines from Turkey and posted an appeal on Facebook in order to rehome the animals in Ireland.

Of course, despite their efforts at, you know, doing what they’re supposed to be doing, people reacted with comments like “what about Irish strays?”
