The injured Liverpool fan has thanked anyone who has supported him in a video.
The 53-year-old was attacked by two Roma FC fans Filippo Lombardi and Daniele Sciusco outside Anfield stadium in 2018.
The unprovoked attack left Cox with severe injuries.
In the video, posted this morning, Cox whispers “thank you” and gives a thumbs up to all those who have raised money for his treatment.
Cox is currently receiving treatment at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoighre.

Cox’s treatment in Dun Laoighre is due to finish in June and his family is said to be looking for another facility for when the time comes.
