Several People Injured In Horror Collision In Cork

Several people have been injured following a collision on a busy Cork road this morning.

The incident took place on the N22 Cork-Killarney road this morning at around 8am, according to the Irish Independent.

The car and truck collided near a set of bends between Macroom and Ballyvourney and gardaí have now closed this section of the road, with diversions in place.

Several units of the fire brigade and ambulances service are currently at the scene and motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.
