The singer’s fans were questioning where the memorial had disappeared to.

A memorial was erected at the Bray property where Sinéad O’Connor grew up in the days and weeks after her death which was tended to by devoted fans to honour the singer.

The shrine, which included cards, letters, stones with messages of condolence, which were placed by over 6,000 fans following her death, have all vanished from the memorial site. This left many wondering where the shrine was moved to, and why.

“Where have all our mementoes gone? What harm were the tributes doing?” one fan posted on social media.
