Brace Yourselves – Snow Is Tipped To Hit Ireland Hard On This Exact Day

Darragh Berry

An arctic blast is set to hit the UK hard bringing with it heavy wind and rain with low, minus degree temperatures.

Forecasters are saying that it will be a shock to the system for people as the cold weather sets in and some are predicting that there will be snow on Halloween night.

Met Office forecaster Greg Dewhurst told the Metro that:

“The winds are changing direction from westerly to northerly and so cold air will move in from the Arctic.

“Temperatures in the last few weeks have been above average but by Friday we will see temperatures struggling.

“It will definitely be a lot colder and if people haven’t had their heating on yet they soon will do.”

Met Eireann confirmed that this weekend, “the cold and bright weather continues through the weekend with daytime temps of 7 to 9 degrees; the nights will be frosty with temperatures falling to between -2 to +2 degrees.

And with this weather of -2 means that BoyleSports have slashed the odds of snow on the 31 October.

The chances of a white Halloween happening is 9/4 while a white Christmas is already as low as 11/4.

Not so spooky weather conditions.
