Spending Christmas Alone This Year? This Pub Is Giving Out Free Dinner

From giving and receiving presents, to catching up with friends over pints and sharing Christmas dinner with our family on Christmas day, there’s no reason to believe that it’s not the best time of the year. For most of us.

For some people however, Christmas is a lonely time.

Thankfully, for anyone living in Cork, Casey’s pub in Clonakilty is opening it’s doors to offer a free Christmas dinner to anyone spending December 25 alone this year.

Since posting the gesture this morning, they have even received an offer from a former chef to come down and help on the day. 

If that isn’t Christmas spirit, we don’t know what is. 

The pub, based in Clonakilty, will be offering the free meals from 12:30pm to 8:30pm on Christmas Day.
