It’s safe to say this probably won’t go down well in the Conor camp at all.
The double champ is now a single champ again as the UFC have decided to strip everyone’s favourite cheeky Crumlin chappy of the featherweight title which he earned by beating José Aldo last December.
The announcement was made at UFC Melbourne last night. It seems the organisation wanted a new main event for the upcoming UFC 206 in Toronto and made Conor choose between the featherweight title and the lightweight title he won by beating Eddie Alvarez in New York a couple of weeks ago.
