Most of the Green Army will be tucked up in their beds but for the hardcore few the Republic of Ireland against Mexico will make for some great late night TV tonight.
The Boys In Green take to the pitch at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to face the other boys in green at the stupid o’clock time of 1.30am here at home.

The match will be live on Eir Sport 2 for anyone who subscribes to the channel at home.
As the game is only a friendly, it should be a great opportunity to check out some of Ireland’s up and coming stars such as Cork’s Kevin Long while the now legendary James McClean will captain the side on the occasion of his 50th international cap.
Olé olé olé.
