Three Uncapped Players Included In Ireland Six Nations Squad

Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt has named a 40-man panel for the opening two games of this year’s Six Nations against Scotland and Italy.

25-year-old Munster winger Andrew Conway is included for the first time as are brothers along with brothers Niall (24) and Rory Scannell (23). 

All three have impressed for Munster this season and will be hoping to be rewarded with debuts at some point during the Six Nations campaign as Ireland look to reclaim the crown they won in 2014 and 2015. 

England are the current holders and travel to face Ireland on March 18 at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. 

Ireland get their campaign underway against Scotland in Edinburgh on February 4.
