Ireland’s Paralympic heroes returned home from Brazil today and there were no shortage of supporters at Dublin Airport to greet them.

The Irish team made a great account of themselves in Rio winning four gold medals, four silver and three bronze, bringing their total haul to 11.

Among those on the receiving end of the adulation were Jason Smyth and Michael McKillop, who both won athletics gold, as well as cycling heroes Eoghan Clifford, Katie-George Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal.
