The 30 second clip has already been seen over 10,000 times in the space of just a couple of hours.

It was filmed by ‘Linda at SeaSugar Confectionery #propersweets’ and posted on Twitter.

Linda McGibbon is the owner of SeaSugar Handmade Confectionery in Northern Ireland.

On Tuesday night, there will be rain in the southwest and it will spread countrywide overnight, followed by a brief clearance to showers.

Southerly winds will increase strong to gale force and gusty towards dawn, with further heavy rain moving into Atlantic coastal counties. Lowest temperatures 4 to 8 degrees Celsius.

It will be windy everywhere on Wednesday, with the potential for severe and damaging gusts in coastal counties of the west and south.

Met Eireann say that “further spells of rain, heaviest and most persistent in the west and northwest, with some spot flooding likely. Mild, with top temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees Celsius in strong to gale force and gusty southerly winds veering southwesterly.”
