Swimming Prohibited At Clare Beach Following Water Quality Test

katedemolder

It’s been announced this evening that Clare County Council has temporarily banned swimming at Kilkee Beach following a water quality test.

According to Breaking News, the swimming water was found to have elevated levels of bacteria present.

This announcement follows advice given by the HSE which suggested that heavy rainfall that The West experienced over the weekend could have elevated the levels of bacteria.

Clare County Council members conducted new water quality tests today, and swimmers will know on Wednesday whether the water is free from contamination or not.
