Taxi Fares In Ireland Will Soon Become More Expensive

Taxis are a real treat - there's nothing better than when you've finished a long work shift and are dreading the crowded bus home to just say 'screw it' and hop into a cab like the glam bitch you are.

One of life's joys, we reckon.

But for taxi-lovers all across the country we've got bad news: Fares will be increasing from February of next year, with the current initial charge of €3.60 during the daytime rising to €3.80, and the premium rate increasing from €4 to €4.20.
