If you have either of these products in your house, you need to be extremely careful with them and bring them back to the shop where it was purchased.
Tesco has confirmed that they are recalling not one but two of their most popular products.
The recall states that:
“Due to a manufacturing error the above date codes of Tesco Pea and Spinach Dip and Tesco Roasted Carrot and Chickpeas Dip may contain small quantities of milk.
“This may make the implicated batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk or its constituents.”
For Tesco Pea and Spinach Dip, the products can be identified by their ‘use-by’ dates: 01.11.2018, 03.11.2018, 05.11.2018, 06.11.2018 & 07.11.2018; pack size: 182g
While for Tesco Roasted Carrot and Chickpeas Dip, the use-by dates of batches affected are: 02.11.2018, 04.11.2018, 06.11.2018 & 08.11.2018; pack size: 182g

As well as this, as a precautionary measure, Supervalu are initiating a recall of Supervalu Signature Tastes Irish Chicken due to the possible presence of small bones.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores that sold the implicated products.
Also, peanuts were undeclared on the label of a batch of Four Seasons Sesame Paste Tahini.
This may make the batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanuts.
The batches affected are those with a best before date of March 2020; batch: 114; pack size: 800g.
