The Sunday Independent has published its annual Irish ‘Rich List’ which contains the country’s 250 richest people.
The list has been described as a collection of the country’s “elite movers and shakers” and contains people from all walks of life, from Finance to Retail and from Music to Sport.
It was compiled by Samantha McCaughren and the standalone feature is a 32-page spread within the paper.
The Mistry Family remain on top with a combined net worth of €15.6 billion. Fronted by Pallonji Mistry, an Indian-born Irishman, most of the Mistry Family’s wealth comes from their 18.4% stake in Tata Sons – who have different industries including an airline, automotive, chemicals and real estate among others.
