Easter weekend is set to be a bit of a mixed bag in terms of weather, with dry sunny spells combined with wintry showers.
Anyone who lives the 9-5 life is looking forward to a much-needed break over Easter, during which you can enjoy stuffing your face with chocolate and a nice spell of good weather. For a time, at least.
It would appear today’s good weather will last for most of the week, with Good Friday and Easter Saturday offering plenty of opportunity to get out and enjoy some sun. However, things will take a turn on Easter Sunday, with some frost at night ahead of some wintry showers in the early parts of next week.
Well, if there’s one day that’s going to be a bit cold, it may as well be the one when you’re sitting on your sofa eating Easter Eggs. Have a look at what Met Éireann have to say Easter weekend and beyond below…
Thursday: Dry with good sunny spells and some passing clouds. Highest temperatures just 10 to 13 degrees generally, coolest along northern and eastern coasts, increasing to between 14 to 17 degrees in the southwest. Winds will be moderate to fresh easterly, decreasing mostly moderate by evening.
