Storm Eleanor is here and she is creating chaos across the country, but it’s especially bad in Galway, as these videos show.Â
Some streets in the city are completely flooded with The Lough Atalia Road, Dock Road, Eglington Street, Dominick Street and Flood Street all impassable.Â

A status orange wind warning is now in effect for Connaught, Cavan and Monaghan from 7pm until 10pm tonight.Â
“Stormy conditions this evening as Storm Eleanor tracks eastwards with mean wind speeds of 65 to 80 km/h and damaging gusts of 110 to 130 km/h,” said Met Eireann.
Many homes across the country have lost power, and members of the public have been advised to charge their laptops and phones in case of an outage.Â
