katedemolder

The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) has just announced that they have cancelled a number of tickets for Dublin’s upcoming All-Ireland Senior Football Championship game with Tyrone in an attempt to cut down on non-official tickets being sold.

Tickets for the semi-final were being offered for sale on non-official selling platforms for up to four times the price – as touts knew that GAA-hungry fans would be willing to pay up for the hotly-anticipated game.

The GAA released the following statement today, announcing that they’ve contacted the tout outlets in question.

Requests have also been made directly to platforms selling tickets above face value to remove them from sale and the situation continues to be monitored by the GAA’s ticket office.”

Those keen to attend Dublin Tyrone clash are being asked to only purchase from the usual ticket outlets including gaa.ie/tickets as well as selected SuperValu and Centra stores nationwide.
