The Reactions On Twitter To The Conor McGregor Incidents Last Night Are Scathing

After Conor McGregor jumped into the ring last night and had a scuffle with the referee people were quick to voice their opinions on Twitter.

While there is normally a 50/50 split on his actions it was noticeable last night that the vast majority of people were harshly condemning the star. 

Here are some of the reactions. What was your take on it all?

Curious in terms of last two videos I posted how Gardai view Conor McGregor. Classed as a regular member of public, got in ring he isn’t allowed in, tried to attack ref, tried to get back in, hit an official, all at a major public event. That’s assault, public order offence etc

Conor McGregor has really made a show of himself. If nothing else can we ever take him seriously again after he ran at that man like an angry chicken.? Never seen legs and knees move like it.

I just spoke to one of the #Bellator187 media members who was cageside (and wanted to remain anonymous). He told me Conor McGregor shouted, “You’re a rat” at Marc Goddard as the melee ensued.

Conor McGregor is the face of MMA today. Being a guest at a show and jumping into the cage then attacking one of the most respected referees in the sport doesn’t make him a legend, it makes him an idiot. #Bellator187
