It seems that many towns in Ireland has a wild ratio of pubs to punters, with the West of Ireland coming out on top.

The Sunday World reported that the below data was compiled by Thomas Bibby, CEO of Reg Point of Sale. Bibby received a list of registered pubs in each Irish town and then compared them with population figures from the most recent Irish census.
