This County Has The Worst Traffic Delays In Ireland

Drivers in Galway face the worst traffic delays in the entire country, according to a new survey.

The research by traffic data firm Inrix revealed that motorists in the county spend up to 43.5 hours sitting in traffic each year, more than any other location.

Dublin was the second most congested county, with drivers losing 31.4 hours per year to traffic delays, followed by Cork with 24.5 hours.

Other counties affected by lengthy delays included Sligo (19.9 hours), Limerick (16.5 hours), Waterford (15.6 hours) and Wexford (12 hours).

Carlow (7.8 hours), Dundalk (6.5 hours) and Mullingar (5.5 hours) finished out the list.
