We all know weddings are expensive on the bride, groom and their families. But have we ever thought about how expensive it is for the rest of us? The guests?

This infographic below, made by John Cunningham of The Wedding Band Shop, breaks down the costs of being a guest at a wedding. And it's slightly horrifying. 

A seriously interesting read, that most of us have probably never even thought about before.
