With the festive season in full swing and Black Friday just around the corner, many Irish people will start to (or finish) their Christmas shopping over the coming days.
One third of Irish people will take advantage of the mega savings day, picking up bargains in shops and online tomorrow and into Cyber Monday.
New research from media agency, MediaCom shows that 33% of Irish shoppers plan to buy something on Black Friday this year – which is up a massive 24% compared to last year.
The study also revealed what the average amount Irish people will spend on Christmas gifts for their nearest and dearest this year.
We will fork out an average of €456 on presents for family and friends alike.
So if you have to shop for quite a number of people this Christmas time – it may be worthwhile thinking of picking up some deals tomorrow.
