This Is Officially The Best Day Of The Year To Find A Bargain

Alan Fisher

If St Stephen’s Day wasn’t all it was cracked up to be then you could be in with another chance to bag a real bargain.

As the sales are starting earlier and earlier each year, lots of people will be buying stuff on impulse and then returning them to the store in the run-up to the new year.

This means that by January 5, some items will be discounted even further.

Vicky Brock, founder of Clear Returns told The Telegraph: “We are likely to see a second wave of bargains when it all re-emerges next week. Items could well have an extra 35 per cent off existing discounts, so rock bottom prices as retailers need to shift it by then.”

You’re also likely to find things that weren’t in previous sales or were sold out on Stephen’s Day.
